Shahid Afridi has started a ripple effect by spitting venom against the Indian Army and Narendra Modi. The Indian cricket players have started to lash out Shahid Afridi for his irresponsible comments against India. Yuvraj Singh has also expressed his disappointment over the comments made by the former Pakistani skipper.
Yuvraj has joined the long list of players including Gautam Gambhir to lash out at the explosive batsman. The left-hander batsman was in good terms with the Pakistani opener and recently helped out Afridi with a charity aimed at helping people suffering from Covid-19 in Pakistan.
Yuvraj Singh slams Shahid Afridi:
Yuvraj Singh was recently involved in controversies after helping Shahid Afridi with his charity. However, Yuvraj Singh took to twitter to speak against Afridi. Afridi was spotted in a video where he visited Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and talked to the people in the state. He spoke to people about his wish to play for Kashmir and how the major problem of the state was the sick mentality of Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India.
The comments did not go down well with the Yuvraj Singh. He spoke against Afridi and said “As a responsible Indian who has played for the country, I will never accept such words. I made an appeal on your behest for the sake of humanity. Never again,”
“I thought he was a friend-” Harbhajan Singh
Harbhajan Singh has also forward to slam the former Pakistani skipper. Harbhajan stated “I thought he was our friend but this not how a friend behaves. Ye badtameezi hai (It’s rude). He should have stayed within his limits but unfortunately keeps on talking rubbish about our country and our PM.”
Harbhajan who was also one of the players who helped Shahid Afridi in his charity has regretted his decisions. He also said “What I did for him was in good faith and people suffering due to the coronavirus. But from now on no further relations with him. No more message or helping him. He has to learn how to respect other people,”
